Yasmin Correa is a interdisciplinary artist who is currently based in Portland, OR and is originally from Palo Alto, CA. She currently studies at the Pacific Northwest College of Art (3rd Year) & is currently majoring in Painting while planning to minor in Drawing and Ceramics. In her work, Correa mostly uses painting/drawing, ceramics, loom weaving & relief printmaking with the hopes to relate this into nature abstraction.

This series focuses on healing while using music, psychology (Expressionism) and nature abstraction. The healing process for me comes from wanting to heal from my depression, anxiety & eating disorder. Each of these pieces carries a little piece of my own heart & I’m very excited to share these, as I hope they share a relation of healing to those who have experienced mental health issues as well.
