Apr 18 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

511 Building - Arlene and Harold Schnitzer Center for Art and Design

Undergraduate Lectures

511 NW Broadway
Portland, Oregon, 97209   [map]

In this engaging lecture, Dirty Looks founder Bradford Nordeen will discuss the intricacies of maintaining and unlocking forgotten historical narratives and legacies within the LGBTQ underground. From assembling events and publications for Dirty Looks, to crafting the in-development podcast Analog Tendencies, supported through the Andy Warhol Foundation / Creative Capital Arts Writers Grant, Nordeen will trace his practice of storytelling through overlooked or outmoded film and performance objects or analog cultural movements erased by the internet.

Sponsored by Video & Sound and Intermedia Departments at PNCA, The Northwest Film Center, and Hollywood Theatre.
